COSMETIC SURGERY PROCEDURES
BOTOX® Cosmetic
BEFORE & AFTER PHOTOS

BOTOX® is the number one non-invasive procedure in the United States for the treatment of wrinkles, lines and facial aging. At AVIVA MedSpa & Cosmetic Surgery Center, BOTOX® and all of our injectables are administered by a board certified plastic surgeon and a registered nurse, both of whom have been performing injections since 2001. The following answers were from a brief survey that asked for the number one reason to get BOTOX®:
Age 20: to prevent wrinkles from forming
Age 30: to keep the wrinkles away and relax the ones that are starting to show up
Age 40: to stop the wrinkles and to feel good about how I look
Age 50: to feel better about myself because aging comes no matter how hard we
try to stop it
Age 60: to look hot
Age 70: because I can
Yes it makes you look better and in some cases it can take years off your face. The real freedom is that you feel great!
BOTOX® works by relaxing the muscles in your face and can temporarily smooth moderate to severe lines. It is important to educate yourself, a BOTOX® injection is not like getting a flu shot. Some people want to be completely wrinkle free with no movement while others want to soften the wrinkles that they have. The muscle groups of individuals vary and therefore injections must be customized to suit your unique needs. Our board certified plastic surgeon and registerd nurse have trained other physicians and nurses in the industry and are are proud of their patient satisfaction rate.
After receiving treatment with BOTOX® the recovery period is almost non-existent. BOTOX® recovery takes only minutes. In fact, you can return to work immediately after treatment. Strenuous exercise should resume only twenty-four hours after treatment. You should not, however, massage the treated area as this can potentially cause the BOTOX® to spread to unintended areas and muscle groups.
You should also avoid lying down for four to five hours after your procedure. In addition, your physician may recommend that you perform facial exercises that he or she will describe to you. This is to test the extent that the BOTOX® has relaxed your muscles. You should also ask your physician about any recommendations he or she may have regarding changes in your daily skin regimen or complications that may arise through the use of other medicines or drugs in conjunction with BOTOX®.
